Flooding expected. Take action now.
River levels are rising at the Boundary Brook, Trowell river gauge as a result of heavy rainfall and snow. Consequently, flooding of property/roads and farmland is possible this evening , 05/01/25.
Areas most at risk are Trowell and Stapleford from the Boundary Brook, including Cranbourne Close, Trowell Park Drive, Need Wood Avenue and Roehampton Drive.
Further rainfall is forecast over the next 24 hours. We expect river levels to remain high until Tuesday on 07/01/25.
We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are patrolling watercourses in the area.
Please move possessions and valuables off the ground or to safety and turn off gas, electricity and water.
