River Erme from Ivybridge to Ermington

Flooding expected. Take action now.

Flood warning

Rising river levels are expected to cause flooding overnight. 
Flooding is expected on 15 December 2025 and into Tuesday 16 December. 
Heavy rain throughout today is forecast to continue through the night.

Properties and low lying areas will start to flood from around 11:00PM on Monday. The main areas of concern are Keaton Bridge in Lower Keaton and at Thornham Bridge, A379 at Sequers Bridge and locations in Ivybridge and Ermington. Flood waters may be deep and fast flowing in these areas.

River levels are forecast to be at their highest at around 12:00AM. 
We are closely monitoring the situation . 
Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water . 
This message will be updated by 12:00PM on 16 December 2025 or as the situation changes.
