Flooding expected. Take action now.
River levels have risen at the Ebley Mill river gauge as a result of recent heavy rainfall. Consequently, flooding of property, roads and farmland is expected between today, 27/12/20. We expect flooding to affect properties and roads in the Stonehouse and Bridgend area.
Predicted peak at the Ebley Mill river gauge is between 1.0 to 1.2m Sunday morning, 27/12/20.
Further scattered showers are forecast over the next 24hrs. We expect river levels to remain high into next week.
We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are clearing weed screens and liaising with emergency services.
This message will be updated by 10:00am on Monday, 28/12/20, or as the situation changes.
