Levels are now well below the flood risk thresholds. The river will remain responsive to further rainfall forecast overnight tonight, Thursday 4th January, and into tomorrow, Friday 5th January. There may still be some areas where flood water is present until it can naturally drain away. Continue to take care on waterside roads and footpaths, and don't put yourself in unnecessary danger. We will continue to monitor levels closely.
