Flood warning

Rising river levels are expected to cause flooding overnight. 
Flooding is expected on 14 December 2025 overnight, peaking in the early hours of the morning. 
Locations most affected will be Ings Mill Caravan Park, Ings Village, areas in Staveley including Windermere Rd, Danes Cresent, Beck Nook, Station Rd, Main St, School Lane, Back Lane, Kent Drive, The Banks and Kendal Rd. 
We are closely monitoring the situation . 
Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water . 
This message will be updated by 10:00AM on 15 December 2025 or as the situation changes.
