Flooding possible. Be prepared.

Flood alert

River levels remain high due to rainfall but are expected to fall from tomorrow, 07/01/25.

Flooding is forecast to affect locations near the River Gowy, with low lying land and roads expected to be most affected, particularly around the River Milton and Hornsmill/Hool, Stanney Mill and Thornton Brooks and their tributaries.

We are closely monitoring the situation.

Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses and do not attempt to walk or drive through flood water.
