Flooding expected. Take action now.
River levels are rising in response to recent heavy rainfall from Storm Bert. Flooding is possible overnight tonight and early tomorrow morning (Tuesday 26/11/2024).
Areas most at risk are Church Street and Olney Tennis and Cricket Clubs in Olney, Lavendon Mill, and Newton Blossomville.
The forecast is for drier conditions overnight and throughout the day tomorrow, which should see levels begin to fall.
Be ready to take action to protect your property if flooding is expected. Take care on riverside roads and footpaths, and don't put yourself in unnecessary danger.
We are monitoring the situation. We will update this message by 10am tomorrow, 26/11/24.
