Flood alert

River levels are falling but remain high today as a result of recent heavy rainfall. Flooding remains possible on 21st February 2026. Areas most at risk are those around the River Great Ouse from Thornborough to Newport Pagnell, including Dogsmouth Brook. We are not expecting the situation to escalate, or to issue any further warning messages at this time. Further light rainfall is forecast today and tomorrow which may keep levels high. We are monitoring rainfall and river levels. Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water. This message will be updated by 10:00am on Sunday 22nd February 2026 or as the situation changes.
