Flood warning

Continuing high river levels mean flooding remains possible today and overnight into 28 January.

Heavy rain has fallen throughout Monday and into Tuesday and further showers are possible.

Catchments are saturated and rivers are expected to remain high.

Properties and low lying areas remain at risk, particularly around Crowdy Mill, Beenleigh and Bow. Flood waters may be deep and fast flowing in these areas.

We are monitoring rainfall and river levels.
Never drive through flood water, just 30cm of fast flowing water is enough to move your car. This message will be updated by 4:00PM on 28 January 2026 or as the situation changes.
