Property flooding is expected.
River levels have risen on the River Hart very quickly as a result of heavy rainfall. Therefore, flooding of property is expected imminently. We expect river levels to remain high for several hours.
We are closely monitoring the situation. Go to the 'River and Sea levels in England' webpage for current river levels. Remain safe and aware of your local surroundings. Move possessions and valuables off the ground or to safety and move family, pets and cars to safety. This message will be updated as the situation changes.
