River Hull Central catchment

Flood Alert

This flood alert remains in force in response to high levels on the River Hull due to localised rainfall coinciding with high tides. High water levels in the river, drains and local watercourses are expected to continue throughout Wednesday night and into Thursday 27/02/2020. River levels will continue to rise and fall with the tide and will respond to further rainfall that is forecast between Thursday and Sunday. Areas most at risk are low lying land and roads. Our Area Incident room remains open and our incident response staff are closely monitoring the forecast and operating pumps. Please plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers which may be flooded. . This message will be updated in 8 hours, or as the situation changes.
