Flood alert

High river levels today may lead to flooding. Areas most at risk include local roads and low-lying land around the central River Hull area including Arram, Tickton, Beverley, and Dunswell. We will continue to monitor levels closely. Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses and do not attempt to walk or drive through flood water. This message will be updated by 09:00PM on Wednesday 18th February 2026, or as the situation changes.
