River levels are falling at Covington but remain high. Flooding is possible on 18 February 2026. Areas most at risk are around the River Kym and River Til from Yelden, and Upper Dean to Hail Weston. We are not expecting the situation to escalate, or to issue any further warning messages at this time. Further rainfall is forecast today and tomorrow. We are monitoring rainfall and river levels. Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water. This message will be updated by 10:00am on Thursday 19 February 2026 or as the situation changes.
