Flooding expected. Take action now.
River levels have risen and are still at the Bulwell river gauge, as a result of Storm BABET. Consequently, flooding of property/roads and farmland is expected to continue.
Areas most at risk are Old Basford, Bobbers Mill and Radford.
Further rainfall is forecast over the next 24 hours. River levels will continue to remain high over this weekend.
We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are patrolling watercourses in the area and liaising with emergency services.
Please avoid using low-lying footpaths near local watercourses and plan driving routes to avoid low-lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded.
This message will be updated tomorrow morning, 21/10/23, or as the situation changes.
