River levels peaked this morning at 08:30 and are now falling. This risk of property flooding has now passed, however the flood alert for the Middle mole from Kinnersley Manor to South Hersham will remain in force until tomorrow morning, therefore, river levels will remain high and land close to the river will remain flooded for the next 24 hours.
Light rain is forecast tonight but this is not expected to cause any further flooding. Dry weather will follow from Sunday onwards.
We are closely monitoring the situation and will issue further flood Warnings and Alerts if necessary.
