Flood warning

Flooding is expected when river levels are at their highest between 18:00 PM today 27/01/2025 and the early hours of tomorrow morning 28/01/2025. Flooding is forecast to affect locations near the River Mole, with low lying land and roads expected to be most affected, particularly around properties on Thorncroft Drive, Wallis Mews and Fetcham Grove. Weather conditions are expected to improve tomorrow. We are monitoring rainfall and river levels and are checking rivers for blockages in the area. Start acting on your flood plan if you have one. Activate any property flood protection products you may have. Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water. Move family, pets and cars to safety and turn off gas, electricity and water if it is safe to do so. Monitor local water levels and weather conditions. Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses. Please do not drive through floodwater as bow waves may affect adjacent properties. This message will be updated by 22:00 PM on 27/01/2025, or as the situation changes.
