Flood alert

Property flooding is not currently expected. River levels have risen on the River Ray and Swinbourne as a result of heavy rainfall over the weekend due to Storm Bert. Therefore, flooding of low lying land and roads is expected today, 25/11/24. Today is forecast to be mainly dry. River levels have peaked and are starting to fall. Our staff have been checking and clearing trash screens and we are monitoring the situation. Go to the 'River and Sea levels in England' webpage for current river levels. Avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses. This message will be updated tomorrow, 26/11/24, or as the situation changes.
