Flood alert

Rising river levels overnight may lead to flooding. 
Flooding is possible from the evening of 13 December 2025 . 
Locations most affected will be around Otterburn Mill, low lying land and roads near rivers. Current forecasts suggest that we will not need to issue any Flood Warnings. 
We are closely monitoring the situation . 
Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water . 
This message will be updated by 10:00AM on 14 December 2025 or as the situation changes.
