The River Roding has been falling today, Sunday 22 December and there is no longer a risk of flooding to properties in Abridge.
Further rain is possible later tomorrow, 23 December. We will continue to monitor the situation closely and will reissue the Flood Warning if the situation changes.
Flooding to roads, gardens and low-lying land is still possible and there may be water in the River Roding floodplain for several days. A flood alert remains in force.
