Severe flooding expected. Take action immediately.

Severe flood warning

A Severe flood warning has been issued because the onset of flooding will be rapid due to the rapidly rising river.
Areas most at risk include farms and residential properties in the Robin House, Thistlewood, Highbridge, Ashbridge, Roewath and Stockdalewath village areas adjacent the Rivers Roe and Ive.
Further rainfall is forecast overnight and throughout Thursday.
River levels are expected to remain high and flooding of properties will continue.
We are liaising with emergency services and local authorities.
Residents are strongly urged to take action now. Remain safe and be aware of your surroundings.
