River levels remain high in the Seven catchment due to persistent heavy rainfall. Further rainfall is forecast on Friday afternoon 08/12/2023 and over the weekend. Flooding may be affecting locations near Marton, particularly low lying land near the river. River levels have peaked and should fall back to more normal levels around midday. Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses and do not attempt to walk or drive through flood water. Start acting on your flood plan if you have one.
