River levels on the River Seven are rising in response to ongoing rainfall associated with Storm Darragh. Flooding is expected today, Saturday 07/12/2024. Areas most at risk include properties in the village of Marton including Marton Road and Back Lane. Futher rainfall is forecast overnight into Sunday, 08/12/2024. We are closely monitoring the situation. Start acting on your flood plan if you have one. Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water. This message will be updated by 1:00am on 08/12/2024, or as the situation changes.
