River levels have risen at the Haw Bridge river gauge as a result of heavy rainfall. Consequently, flooding of property, roads and farmland is expected to continue today 16/02/20. Flooding is affecting Abbots Court, Deerhurst. Predicted Peak at Haw Bridge 4.9m to 5.1m Tuesday 18/02/20. Further scattered showers are forecast over the next 48 hours. We expect river levels to remain high for the next few days. We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are checking defences. Please plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded. This message will be updated by 4am on 17/02/20, or as the situation changes.
