Flooding expected. Take action now.
River levels are now falling at the Bewdley river gauge. Consequently, flooding of property,roads and farmland is expected to continue but the situation is improving.
We expect flooding to affect properties at Severnside.
Observed peak:- Bewdley 4.51m on Tuesday afternoon, 10/12/24.
No further rainfall is forecast. We expect river levels to remain high for the next few days.
We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are liaising with emergency services and Local Authorities. Please plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded and move possessions and valuables off the ground, or to safety.
This message will be updated by 6pm on Thursday, 12/12/2024, or as the situation changes.
