Rising river levels are expected to cause flooding this evening.
Flooding is expected on 28 February 2026 from approximately 10pm.
Areas most at risk are Marjorie Street, Coral Street, Wand Street, Cooper Street, Ross Walk, Bath Street, Abbey Park Street and Lanesborough Road. Properties and roads in Belgrave are also at risk. Light rainfall is forecast over the next 24 hours. River levels at the Freemans Weir Gauge will rise until approximately midnight tonight, 28/02/2026. Levels will remain high until tomorrow afternoon, 01/03/2026.
We are closely monitoring the situation
Start acting on your flood plan if you have one and move possessions and valuables off the ground or to safety.
