Flooding expected. Take action now.
River levels are rising at the Freemans Weir river gauge as a result of persistent heavy rainfall. Consequently, flooding of property is possible today, 03/01/24. Areas most at risk are Braunstone including Amy Street.
Further rainfall is forecast over the next 24 hours.
We are closely monitoring the situation. Please move possessions and valuables off the ground or to safety and follow advice from emergency services.
This message will be updated by 10:00 tomorrow morning, 04/01/24, or as the situation changes.
