River levels have risen at the Freemans Weir river gauge as a result of persistent heavy rainfall. Consequently, flooding of property is possible. Areas most at risk are Aylestone Lock Industrial Estate and surrounding residential properties.
Further rainfall is forecast over the next 24 hours.
We are closely monitoring the situation. Please move possessions and valuables off the ground or to safety and follow advice from emergency services.
