River levels on the River Spen have now peaked, and are now falling, and will continue to fall throughout today, 8/11/19, below levels of concern. There is no further significant rainfall is forecast over the next 24 hours and river levels are returning to normal.
We are closely monitoring the situation from the Leeds Incident Room which is still open. Please be aware that there may still be standing water and debris around so remain aware of your surroundings when in this area. If you have been affected by flooding call the Incident Hotline on 0800 80 70 60.
