This is an archived message. The status has changed more recently.
Rainfall last night was not as heavy as forecast and water levels on the River Stert have not risen significantly. Therefore flooding of low lying land from rivers is no longer expected.
There may be some localised surface water flooding including on roads so remain safe and be aware of your local surroundings. Rivers remain sensitive to further rainfall. The weather forecast is for rain this morning to clear to leave a mainly dry afternoon. Heavy thunderstorms are possible on Thursday and Friday.
