The River Stort has being falling steadily over the last few hours (Thursday 14th January) and we do not expect any further flooding to properties at Clavering and Manuden.
Some further light rain throughout Thursday evening is likely to keep the River Stort higher than usual.
Flooding to roads in the Clavering and Manuden area may occur and there may be standing water for several days. A flood alert remains in force.
