Flooding possible. Be prepared.
High river levels today has led to flooding.
Flooding is possible on 28th February 2026 and into Sunday 1st March.
River levels remain high but steady and will remain high during Saturday and into Sunday, the risk of flooding remains. Flooding may affect low lying land and roads around Halesowen, Stourbridge, Wombourne, Kingswinford and Kinver. This flood alert has been issued as heavy rain and thunderstorms have been forecast for this area. There is uncertainty however, over the amount of rainfall expected and their exact location.
We are monitoring rainfall and river levels .
Stay away from floodwater - it contains hidden dangers such as open manhole covers, sewage and chemicals . Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses.
This message will be updated by 11:00AM on 1st March 2026 or as the situation changes.
