Flooding expected. Take action now.
High river levels are expected to cause flooding for the next two days.
Flooding is expected on 24 January 2026 and into Sunday 25 January.
Prolonged heavy rainfall overnight has caused river levels to rise. Properties and low lying areas will start to flood imminently.
River levels are forecast to be at their highest between 3pm and 6pm.
The main areas of concern are properties and low lying areas around Bradstone Mill, Tutwell, Gunnislake, Morwellham Power Station and Cotehele. Flood waters may be deep and fast flowing in these areas.
Further bands of heavy rain are forecast later this afternoon and overnight into Sunday.
We are closely monitoring the situation.
Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water .
