Flooding expected. Take action now.
River levels have risen at the Blythe Bridge river gauge as a result of heavy rainfall this morning 24/09/2019. Consequently, flooding of roads and farmland is possible. Flooding is affecting properties in the Birmingham Road, Coton Road, Station Road and Middle Lane area. Further rainfall is forecast over the next 6 hours. We expect river levels to rise until this evening 24/09/2019.
We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are checking defences and liaising with emergency services.
Please move family, pets, possessions, valuables and cars to safety and follow advice from emergency services.
