Flooding expected. Take action now.
River levels are rising at the Upper Tean river gauge as a result of heavy rainfall. Consequently, flooding of property, roads and farmland is possible this afternoon and overnight, 07/12/24. We expect flooding to affect properties on or close to Breach Lane, Teanford. Further rainfall is forecast over the next 24 hours. We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are actively checking river levels and the weather forecast. Please avoid contact with flood water and call 999 if in immediate danger. This message will be updated by 09:00 on 08/12/24, or as the situation changes.
