Flooding expected. Take action now.
Rising river levels are expected to cause flooding overnight.
Flooding is expected on 15 December 2025 into Tuesday 16 December.
Heavy rain throughout today is forecast to continue through the night.
Properties and low lying areas will start to flood from around 11:30PM on Monday. The main areas of concern are Ventiford Cottages and properties around Ventiford Bridge, School Cottages at Teigngrace, businesses at Teignbridge Level Crossing, Sandford Orleigh Farm and the Exeter Road. Flood waters may be deep and fast flowing in these areas.
River levels are forecast to be at their highest around 02:30AM.
We are closely monitoring the situation .
Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water .
