Flooding possible. Be prepared.
High river levels may lead to flooding.
River levels are high on the River Thames and its tributaries from Days Lock to Pangbourne. Flooding of low lying land and roads is expected today, including in the Benson, Wallingford, Goring and Streatley areas. The forecast is predominantly dry today with rain tomorrow. Levels are stabilising in the area but are expected to remain high and sensitive to further rainfall over the coming days.
We are monitoring rainfall and river levels. Avoid low lying footpaths and roads near rivers, which may be flooded. Go to River Levels Online for updates on current river levels.
