Flooding expected. Take action now.

Flood warning

Property flooding is expected. River levels are high but slowly falling on the River Thames as a result of recent rainfall from Storm Bert and water moving downstream. Flooding of property and roads is expected to continue today, 29/11/24. Areas most at risk are on Abingdon Road in Culham. Today is forecast to be mainly dry followed by light rain in places overnight. River levels are expected to continue to slowly fall over the next few days. Levels will remain high as water moves downstream.
We are monitoring the situation. Our staff are liaising with councils and emergency services. Move possessions and valuables off the ground or to safety. Activate any property flood protection products such as flood barriers. This message will be updated this evening, 29/11/2024, or as the situation changes.
