Flooding of property and roads is expected, especially in the Shiplake and Wargrave areas. A Flood Warning is in force for River Thames for Shiplake, Lower Shiplake and Wargrave. Further rainfall is forecast over the next 24 hours. River levels have stabilised but will remain high over the next few days, and will be responsive to further rainfall.
We are closely monitoring the situation.
Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses. Stay away from flood water - it contains hidden dangers.
