The risk of flooding from the River Thrushell has now reduced as river levels have fallen through the morning and water from Thursday evening/Friday morning’s flooding is draining naturally from low lying areas.
Conditions remain unsettled with further rain forecast for Friday evening which is expected to result in a further response. The Flood Alert for this area is still in force and will be updated throughout the day to reflect the latest forecast overnight.
We continue to monitor conditions and if risks increase overnight, this Flood Warning may be reissued in response.
