Flooding expected. Take action now.
River levels are rising at the Blacktoft river gauge as a result of high spring tides. Consequently, flooding of property is imminent. Areas most at risk are the Alkborough Flats. The Blacktoft river gauge is forecast to overtop the lower and upper spillways and result in flooding.
We expect river levels to remain high until after this evenings high tide.
We are closely monitoring the situation.
Please never drive through flood water, just 30cm of fast flowing water is enough to move your car.
