Flooding expected. Take action now.

Flood warning

River levels continue to rise at the Colwick river gauge as a result of recent heavy rainfall. Consequently, the risk of property flooding remains. Areas most at risk are Attenborough Nature Reserve.
No further significant rainfall is forecast. We expect river levels to remain high but begin falling tonight, 08/01/2025.
We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are patrolling watercourses in the area and liaising with emergency services.
Please move possessions and valuables off the ground or to safety and avoid contact with flood water.
