Flooding expected. Take action now.

Flood warning

River levels are high but steady at the Great Haywood river gauge as a result of heavy rainfall.
Consequently, flooding of property, roads and farmland is possible this evening and overnight into Monday, 09/12/24. We expect flooding to affect properties and roads in the Great Haywood, Little Haywood, Colwich and Wolsley Bridge areas.
Further rainfall is forecast over the next 12 hours.
We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are actively checking river levels and the weather forecast. Please avoid contact with flood water and call 999 if in immediate danger.
