River levels have risen on the River Tweed as a result of heavy rainfall overnight. Consequently, flooding of property is possible from 08:00 this morning (16/02/2020). Levels at Norham gauge are currently predicted to peak between 6.0 and 6.3 metres.
Areas most at risk are properties and low lying land around the Boat House and the

Persistent rainfall is forecast until 06:00 this morning (16/02/2020) with further showers forecast throughout the day. We expect river levels to remain high during the day.
Please avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses and plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded.
