Flooding possible. Be prepared.
We have seen heavy rain across the area overnight into Monday 23 September. Rising river levels throughout the morning may lead to flooding.
Flooding is forecast to affect locations near the rivers Ver and Red, with low lying land and roads expected to be most affected.
Further heavy rainfall is expected this morning. Weather conditions are expected to improve by the afternoon Monday 23 September and no further flooding is expected.
We are monitoring the situation closely.
Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water.
