River levels are continuing to rise on the River Weaver due to Storm Babet. No further rainfall is forecast, but river levels are still rising and are expected to peak overnight.
Areas most at risk include some properties on Mill Lane and Sutton Quays Business Park.
Our incident rooms are open and we are closely monitoring the situation.
Residents are strongly urged to take action now. Remain safe and be aware of your surroundings.
Monitor local water levels and weather conditions. Consider putting your flood plan into action. You should avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water.
