Levels remain high in the River Went but are slowly falling. Levels are also falling in the adjacent River Don, which will help improve the rate of drainage in the River Went. No significant rainfall is forecast over the next 3 days however there is potential for further bands of rain over the weekend. Our incident room remains open. Visit https://www.doncaster.gov.uk/News/flooding-faqs-and-advice-for-residents for latest information and local advice. Please avoid contact with floodwater, stay away from embankments holding back floodwater and plan journeys to avoid low-lying roads. Check https://www.doncaster.gov.uk/services/transport-streets-parking/current-roadworks for road closures. To report any flood impacts call 0800 80 70 60.
