A flood warning has been issued for River Wharfe at Ilkley as river levels are rising quickly. Flooding is forecast to affect locations near the River Wharfe, with low lying land expected to be most affected, particularly around Properties around Bath Street, Bridge Street, Ashlands Road, the Cemetery and Beck Foot Farm. Further rainfall is expected for the rest of Sunday 20/02/2022 and into tomorrow Monday 21/02/2022. We are monitoring river levels closely. Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses and do not attempt to walk or drive through flood water. Plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded. Visit the GOV.UK website for a 5 day flood forecast and up to date river levels.
