Flood warning

This message has been issued because there may be some issues with surface water flooding and difficult driving conditions for the rest of today into tomorrow morning. River levels are expected to continue to rise. Areas most at risk are Stock Lane in Ingatestone, properties at Hylands Mill, and around Writtle Bridge. The weather forecast is for further rain today and for continued unsettled weather over the next couple of days. Flood water is dangerous. Don't put yourself or others at risk. We are monitoring the situation and will update this message by midnight tonight, Thursday 17 November.
