High river levels may lead to flooding in some places.

River levels are high on sections of the River Windrush. Flooding of some low lying land and roads is expected to continue today, 19 March 2026, including the areas around Bourton on the Water and Newbridge. The forecast is for a dry day today and remaining settled for the next few days. We expect river levels to continue to fall gradually over the coming days.

We are monitoring rainfall and river levels. Avoid low lying footpaths and roads near rivers, which may be flooded. Go to River Levels Online for updates on current river levels.
