Flooding expected. Take action now.
River levels are forecast to increase further at the Ashford river gauge as a result of heavy rainfall. Consequently, flooding of property is expected to begin between 03:00 and 05:00 tomorrow, 02/01/24. Areas most at risk are Church Street area at Ashford in the Water, and the A6 at Buxton.
Further heavy rainfall that is forecast over the next 24 hours.
We are closely monitoring the situation.
